Default how much can be milled on stock ls1 heads with zo6 cam

title basically says it. im puttilg the 5.7 in my silverado and want to get some more power. 1. is it worth it for the 100 to get them milled compaired to hp gained. 2. how much could i mill them? lift on cam is .550 Thanks in advance

I believe you can go down to .055 before you start to run into manifold fitment issues. Thats assuming you stay with the stock head gasket.

what would that make compression? like 12.5? can i still run on pump gas like that?

which heads?? I recently recieved the advice that .030 would be good. It would bump compression to 11 to 1 and give a noticeable increase in throttle response and give about a 4% power increase. That was advised with a tr224 with 564 lift so you should be fine with your cam. Also, this was using a stock thickness GM MLS gasket
