Default Help me choose a cam!!

I have a Corvette with headers, ls6 intake, cat back and x pipe, Blackwing air intake, 4.10 gears, Accel 30# injectors, under drive pulley,M6 tranny (built), 18" BFG DR's, and a NOS 5177 Dry Kit (100 shot). Car made about 420/470 on the dyno.

Now I'd like to add a camshaft to the mix to get my NA numbers up (about 350/350 NA). Was thinking about the TR 224/227. Car is a daily driver, and does not see the track very often (closest one if over 100 miles away), but I do street race about every week. Drivability/Reliabitly is VERY important!! I do not want to replace springs every 12k miles

So what do you guys think/suggest?

with any cam you choose, you should aim for #'s higher than that.

IMO a cam you cant go wrong with is the TR224/224. The cam is great for street/strip, heads, nitrous...you name it. The TSP cam might be a little much as it is more aggressive for daily driving

the tr224 should throw you around 380+rwhp

What's the difference between the 224/224 and the 224/227? Aren't they pretty much the same? With the 227 being a little more aggressive and better for spray?

i havent heard much of the 224/227. I know the Tr224 performs very well, which is why i suggested it. With a few more degrees on the exhaust side, i dont think the cams would be that different in the #'s they put up.

Either should be fine
