Default Flashing SES light... No code?

Just finished up the H/C install and now I am running into a problem. The car idles fine and seems fairly strong( i am still breaking it in), i haven't had the car over 3,500 rpms yet.

However, at around 2.8-3krpms i will get a flashing SES light. It will continue to flash until i turn the car off. No code shows on EFILive, and when its flashing i cant really tell if the car has been affected at all.

Almost everything on the car except the shortblock has been replaced, knock sensors to spark plugs/wires everything. Even had to replace the MAP sensor when i first started the car back up.

Just nothing shows up when the car gets scanned. Any ideas what i should look for? Really the only thing i need to finish up on the car is a small exhaust leak, which i dont think would be throwing a code as its really not that large of a leak.

The car has the following:
Futral F13 cam
Stage 3 LS6 heads
Chromoly Pushrods
ARP rod bolts
ARP head bolts
LS6 valley cover
LS6 PCV system
Ported LS6 intake
Ported TB/MAF
SLP lid
FTRA
LS7 lifters
LS2 lifter trays
Ported LS6 intake(no fast yet)
Ported stock TB
Pacesetter LT's
Pacesetter ORY
ASP u/d pulley
LS7 clutch
Tick Adjustable Master
Performance built T56
Pro 5.0
255lph walbro fuel pump
SVO red tops

Flashing SES usually indicates a misfire. Did you disable P0300? If so, don't do that. I've learned it's better to tune the misfire tables rather than turn off P0300 completely.

I've also seen flashing SES's go away once the car is tuned. You need to do some logs on the car. If nothing crazy is sticking out in your logs, then just continue to tune as normal. More than likely it's a tuning issue/fix.

Good luck.

Thanks, I will look into it. Hopefully its just a tuning issue or maybe a wire not snapped on fully.

i agree i had the same problem with mine, if i remember correctly my problem was a camshaft positioning sensor, u might want to check that and the crank sensor
