Default Ls1 to ls2 what has to be done

I have a 98 ws6 i was thinking about doing a 408 with a ls2 block. What has to be done for this to work. i know the ls2 is drive by wire. someone said something about cam sensor. I do not want to cut the wiring harness. Can i use the ls6 intake and heads on the ls2 block.I know i will have to have it tuned

Go to the Gen 4 internal section and theres a sticky on swapping an L76/LS3,etc into an F-body. Basically the same as an LS2 swap.

Yes the heads/intake will work on the LS2. The LS6 intake is said to be better than the LS2 one also.

That should get you in the right direction anyway.

Ls6 intake is smaller than the ls2 intake. No doubt.
What you can do is to stroke your Ls1 to 373 and use a ls2 intake with a 90mm throttle body. that Will give you more power than an ls6 intake.
Ls6 injectors flow 28 lb and the ls2 flow 34 lb.
you can buy some adapters from EV1 to EV6
The ls2 engine use a 58 tooth reelocator wheel, and will not be compatible with your ECU. You can change the wheel but it will be more work than fixing the engine that you have.
