Help Wifes bracket car
I am finishing a bracket car for my wife. She does drve this on the street every now and then and to shows with me. The car was one of my NA cars with a MS4 and PT4000 in a full manual 4l60e with 383.
This is what she has now. 383, stage 2.5 heads from TSP (2.04/1.60), MS4 cam, stage 3 4l60e (auto not manual), vig 2800 converter, 4.10 Mosure 12 bolt, step long tubes and Borola Exhaust. Compression is about 11 to 1 with LS6 intake. Car is 3300 pounds with 28" MT DR and 6 point.
I have not put this back together since I am concerned about the MS4 and the 2800 not being enough converter??? I was thinking about trading the MS4 for a cam around the 228 range. What do you think? I want her to have a consistent car, but easy to drive. 11:50 would be nice for her. Any suggestions? Would you put it together with the MS4 and try it?

Personally I'd reduce the cam and the rear gear & leave the converter alone, just to make things easier all the way around for consistency, longevity, and safety. That's just me though.
