Default 01 241's fit 98 LS1?

I have a guy interested in buying my 241's, he has a 98 LS1 and said he thinks the head bolts may be in a different pattern. Is that true? My car is an 01. Im gonna go out and take some pictures tonight for him, just wanted to hear if thats true or not from you guys first. Thanks.

I believe the 98's had perimeter bolt valve covers where as the later had centerbolt valve covers.

The heads will work fine however the 98 uses perimeter valve covers bolt and therefore he will need 99-up valve covers and he will need the 99-up style head gaskets they should bolt up just fine however.

The heads will bolt up the same. Whats different is the valvecover bolt pattern and the coil brackets. So if you buy them make sure you get the valve covers and coil brackets.

Alright Ill tell him he'd need the valve covers and 01 style head gaskets. And that is a good point about the coil bracket, mine are all on one bracket per side, arent the 98 style all separate? So he'd have to switch his coils to all on one bracket like mine?
