Default ls1 heads

alright folks. ive got a question. im trying to figure out if porting and polishing the stock ls1 heads as well as buying upgraded valvetrain components would cost less rather than buying aftermarket heads that come with the upgraded stuff.. and would the power be anywhere near the same with doing that to the stock heads as opposed to getting aftermarket?

Depends on the porter/vendor you choose. See TEA ---->

If it were me, and I was thinking along your route, I would go with GMPP LS6 CNC heads. Great flow, and at $1060 - a great price.
