Default "Common" valve train noise

Ok I just want to put this out there to get some opinons. I have heard many cammed LS engines and the valve train sounds different in all of them. Some of them have a very quiet valve train, like stock while others are quite loud and have that very noticable sewing machine sound. I know that valve train set up is key to minimizing noise but some of the louder cars i've heard were set up correctly. Even one car with a 24x-25x with 600+ lift sounded like a stocker. So my question is assuming the valve train is set up correctly(pushrod length, wipe, spring height, etc) what causes the difference in all these cars. I know cam lobes can affect it but cars with comp xe and xer lobes can be noisy too and I thought xe lobes weren't super aggresive. Also i've heard of people going to full rollers like Yella Terra's with no change in sound.
