Default ARP main and head studs for 2004 LQ9?

Needing head studs and main studs for my recently aquired LQ9. I have heard they changed in 04 and want to make sure I get the right ones. Thanks

They changed the size mid year 04....my 04 ls1 used the 2nd design and my 04 lq9 block uses the 1st design.

1st design uses shorter bolts on each end closest to the intake and the rest are longer.
2nd design uses all the same length bolts
Do you have an old head bolt? Try droping it in all the holes and see if the threads start at the same depth... If it does you have design 2... If you have to different depths its design 1

Trust me you will know right away

The same main studs will work. You need to check the heads studs and see if they are the LS1 style long and short or the LS2 style all short- head bolts. I have both on the shelf and ready to ship asap!

Main Studs: #234-5608
LS1 12-pt Studs: #234-4316
LS1 6-pt Studs: #234-4110
LS2 12-pt Studs: #234-4317
