Default Misfire help.

I have a 2000 z with 80k miles on it. A while back ago while sitting in traffic the car kinda shivered out of no where and sounded as if it was going to turn off. I gave it a little gas and it spudered sounding like what i thought was a misfire. The car after a second regained its composer and ran fine. I pulled over after driving for a minute and turned the car off sat for a min then turned it back on. The car was fine and i had no clue what the hell just happened. Since then it happens to me about once a week (car is a daily driver). My mechanic has no clue because the car isn't throwing any codes and my plugs and wires are crystal clear and brand new. I was wondering if maybe a coil pack was being stupid or something. I also changed my fuel filter which was also very clean in the first place. Help if possible? Thanks Chris.
