6.0L in my 01 Z28 need info Hi,
I just bought a 2001 6.0L to put in my Z28. I am goign to use the 408 stroker recipe of 4.030 bore, 4.000 crank, 6.125 rods to make 408cid. What I need to know is, is there somewhere I can find out what , if any, special maching of the block needs to be done or any other info that is out there on that combo. Also, what would be better, running the 6L heads or a set of 5.3L heads. I want to run between 10.5 and 10.725 compression and a cam with no more than .580 lift. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
