Default Can I do LSX Heads on my C5R? Do I want to?

Hello! I'm new to ls1tech but my car may not be. I own the 03 Car and Driver One Lap of America winning Corvette. Unfortunately the C5R motor was built by MTI in Texas (don't get me started, there's a reason they are out of business).
Last fall the LS6 stage 3 heads cracked at an intake port (way too much porting) and hydraulic'd a cylinder. The motor was a 4.155" bore!! I have taken it back to a 4.125" bore and am now in the process of bringing it to 2010 specs. I have become quite enamored with the LSX heads and am wondering if I can use them on my C5R block? I know I'm okay on the bore but do I need to bolt the 5th and 6th bolts. Am I okay if I do not bolt them to the block. Of course the C5R has no provisions to add that 5th and 6th bolt hole. I would use LS7 heads but it appears as if the LSX ports are apparently the same size as LS7's in their "as cast" form. I'm figuring that if I decide to I can port the LSX's and gain more if I want it. Bolting on a set of CNC'd LS7's would be great but would leave me no room for improvement. Anyone have opinions, facts, etc? Thanks in advance.
