Default Changing to 243 heads, ok to use stock 241 gaskets?

Looking online at Autozone and Napa for gaskets for a 01 Firebird they come up with a graphite gasket that is $30 or so. If you search for a 03 C5 Z06 it comes up with something totally different. The one on Napa is $115 and AZ is $43. Both utilize the same bore but call out for different P/N from Fel Pro.

Did a search on the first P/N ($30 gasket) and found posts saying they were stock replacement but just find it a little odd the C5 LS1 gets a different number called out.

If I go with the first $30 gasket will I be safe with switching the heads? Don't plan on spraying or boosting it, at least with the stock bottom end. On a college budget and every little bit saved helps, otherwise I would just bite the bullet and get the spendy guys.

You can also try your local GM/Chevy dealer and get the GM MLS head gaskets.

I'd go with the GM MLS gasket! Thy are under $50 for the pair and will treat you well!

If only I could get it by tomorrow without having to pay double the price the gasket for shipping.

Local dealers don't have the gasket in stock and say it will be a week before I would see them and want $110 a piece.

Probably just going to settle with the Fel-Pro and maybe change it out this summer when I look at doing more with the car.

What's the GM P/N for the MLS gasket? Gave them the P/N from the LS1howto head swap and that is the one they said would take a week.
