Question Will I have P/V issues with this cam?

Looking at a a custom ground Comp Cam, specs are 231/237 .589/.595 LSA: 112 with Dur@.050, and a set of Patriot LS1 Stage 2 heads with Ferra Valves & Felpro head gaskets. (A package deal from one of the sponsors). Was wondering if there will be any clearance issues with this setup on a '02 LS1 engine? Not planning on or wanting to change the pistons. Looking to make a little over 400 or so rwhp with this setup NA, possible?

If I go ahead & get the cam now instead of waiting for the cash to get the heads too, would I have any clearance issues with that cam & stock heads, etc.

Or should I just go with something else?

Mods are on the car now are pretty much all bolt-on's (headers, cold air, MAF, lid, cat-back, cut-outs). Thanks for the help & suggestions.

The TSP 231/237 may get you to 400 cam only.
Then go with the LS6 style 5.7 Patriot Stage II 59cc heads. This combo is a proven performer.

I'm running the 231/237 on stock heads with no P/V issues.

Second that. If your talking about the TSP cam, it is a Lunati and lift inake is .598, not a CC and .589 FWIW. You wont have any clearance issues with stock OR PP Unmilled heads. You might make the 400mark without out the heads, you do have better flowing factory heads being an 2002. If you had my car, I would say get the heads and continue to pray...but I do love the cam!
