Default lq4 stroker

I wanna hear some feed back of current or past 408 or 402 lq4 strokers owners, what r y'all comments on how it performs, reliability and longevity? I'm just gonna throw in the stroker Crank and rods, I'm not gonna bore it out. So mine will be a 402, just want some opinions on how other peoples stroker turned out.

Pick a qualified shop to do the work, and enjoy your new found torque. Erik koenig comes to mind, I've also used LME with good success.

Built around 1500 in the last decade or so on the LSx stuff and haven't really seen "problems" so to speak. We only use parts that work however and we do repair a lot of older hack jobs. Most of the newer pistons and parts for the LSx engines are now decent especially Wiseco and Diamond.

A lot of issues are the rest of the deal and tuning and top end parts to really make the power that is expected.

Has anyone got any numbers or graphs for this?

Im in the same boat here, have an LQ4 and a basic turbo setup or a N/A stroker is going to cost me similar money, but the stroker will be simpler, which I like.

As well as peak numbers, torque levels at around 2500rpm I would be interested in as I want a real stump puller as well as 500bhp+, grip is not an issue, but I dont want a peaky engine.
