Default cracked block?

I bought an aluminun 5.7 block from a buddy. He showed me at the time of purchase where the #7 cyl had been sleeved due do some damage that had occured on the old setup but assured me that all was good. Today upon inspecting the block during assembly we noticed that the block has a small crack between the sleeve and water jacket on the deck surface. My theory is that this occured when the sleeve was being pressed in. If you look down inside the water jacket the crack extends for an inch or so down from the deck surface and stops. My question is because the head gasket seals against the sleeve itself is the block useble? or is it scrap? opinions will be appreciated!

Man I dont know. If I was you I would just get another block. It not worth taking the risk of installing a motor and it start leaking or mess up the rest of the motor.
