Default Loose knock sensor ???

I got the chevelle running again, and to my dismay there is a tick that I could not locate with a stethiscope?sp? or by running without the valve covers. It sounds like a lifter but I can not feel a loose rocker while it's running. So I began pulling the engine back out and just found that both knock sensors are loose. I gave them a couple of good back and forth push-plls and there is enough movement for them to make a noise. Do ya'll think this is a good enogh find to put it back together and run it... or should I pull it and look elsewhere? The shortblock is a low mile LS6 that looked to be in great shape. Heads, valves, springs are off a 01 vette. The rest of the valvetrain and lifters were out of a really low mile 6.0 longblock I had.

Well, I put it back together and started it, and it is still ticking... so now she's coming back out.
