I'm looking at buying a small head and cam package from my buddy. The heads are CNC ported 241s and milled .010 the cam is a 224/228 .588 .588 and 114+1. Its got 2.02 stainless intake and stock exhaust. I'm looking for a more of a street cam instead of a strip cam. I have 366rwhp and 386rwtq after some recent mods. I'm also putting in ls7 cam rollers,pac springs meling timing chain, meling oil pump, possibly 1.85 rocker arms, and injectors.is this a good investment for 800 bucks? Or should I hold out for a bigger cam only set up? Any guesses of the hp? I want over 420rwhp after a tune. Any and all input is welcomed

I thought you installed a tsunami cam? I would stick with the stock rockers with an aftermarket cam. Who cnc ported the heads? Just because they are cnc ported does not mean they are qualitity.

Yeah, I dont think I would even run 1.85's on a stock cam. If they come with that 800$ deal then sneak them out on Ebay.

No, I haven't done a cam swap yet. I was wondering who cnc ported the heads too..maybe I should pass this deal up and look into just a cam package. Yeah I was looking into the 1.85s on ebay. Are rockers really not a good idea? I'm trying to get every bit of hp and tq I can. Also my buddy just replaced his injectors off his 06 ls2 gto. Will they fit on the ls1? He said I could just have them and I know I need injectors...thanks

Also is the lobe seperation kinda high? I know the heads are milled to raise compression, but still...
