Default 99SS. Pass. Side / Front Header Bolt Hole Stripped. Please Come In to See Question

As the title states, my front header bolt hole is stripped on the passenger side of my '99 SS.

If you have encountered this exact situation before, please let me know what happened for you to solve your problem.

The most important thing that I would like to know is whether or not the head had to be removed from your car.

Were you able to solve your problem by unbolting the passenger side of the engine from the k member and tilting the engine upwards to give yourself a better way to approach the head with the drill?

Thank you in advance.

I searched and did not really find anything significant.
