Default stroker 383 crank with stock rods & pistons

Has anyone ever done a stroker 383 crank w/ stock rods & pistons on a 346cid? Any benefit?

No because it won't work. When using a longer stroke crank, you have to use shorter rods. I don't know why a person would want to use stock pistons for anything other than a stock engine.

actually, with most stroker cranks, you use longer rods...the length comes off the pistons. you use pistons with a shorter CD.

Yup I have the callies compstar, 6.125 length rods, with wiseco pistons designed for that length rod.
