Default stock y pipe with lt headers?

can i use the stock y pipe with my lt headers untill i get a after market y pipe? i know it will not bolt right up but will they meet up for the most part with out having to replace it?

You would need to do some major cutting and fab work. They will not at all line up. The extra time and money spent to make it work would most likely not be worth it to save $150-200.

a tsp Y is like $110 or something last time i checked. if you cant afford even that, you should be buying headers. a paceseterr LT and Y is like $400 for both IIRC.

I agree with these guys. The stock y-pipe is made to stretch all the way up to the stock cats. Pacesetter Longtubes will stretch much farther down then where the cats previously were. You would be better off holding off on the install and grab an aftermarket y-pipe first. It will probably save you some money and a lot of headache.

alright what y pipe should i go with? not looking to spend a whole lot just a daily driver.

the tsp y is a very good setup for a really good price.
