used heads, what to do????

used heads, what to do???? Well i got a set of used 243's and getting ready to clean them up, wondering if i should put in new valve guides and have them looked over by a machine shop. I checked the gasket surface with a machinist square and it is flat. What all do you guys do to clean them up, i will be taking the valves out and installing the prc 650" spring kit also. But what else do i need to worry about.
