ls1 piston slap lifter wrist pin??? with video's I have a 2000 z28 making some bad noise. It is really bad when cold and quiet when warmed up. I really dont know what it is. Any help would be great. Please watch both vids one is cold and one is warm.
Also in the vids the motor does have lucas in and it did quiet it down.

well I joined this forum cause i saw your video and my car make I'd say close if not exactly the same knock, been there for 4 years now the guys form another forum i belong to have been extremely helpful, and I think mine is a sever case of piston slap, don't take my word for it, I'm not a mechanic, at least one that makes a living off of being a mechanic. I'm interested to see whats said about your car and your video, see where it might lead me too. wow that was posted a year ago... my bad!
