Stock block on a 383 Stroker?

Can you run a 383 stroker kit on a stock LS1 block? What is the bigest stroker kit you can run with the stock bore? I'm new to the whole concept of a stroker engine, so any other input would be helpful.

Roughly 4.100", with the right pistons.
