X1 can be had on a 114 Lsa. Should be fine with proper stall and tuning.

Drove mine daily for 15,000 miles in 12 months - no problems at all.

yep yep....SUPER STREETABLE cam IMHO....doesn't chop or die like a cam of it's size...makes great power...and the 112LS I had in my A4 didn't even act like a 112....

I give u my blessings son.... ;-)

Best for what kind of driving? best for a choppy idle or a smooth one?

There is no "best". Decide what you want and choose accordingly.

In general: 112 will provide peak power at a lower RPM than a 114, 112 will/should idle a bit rougher than the 114, 112 will have a shorter power band than the 114, etc.

Now these are generalizations and the differences will be small.

"Small", around 300 rpm or less.

Good Luck

man get the X1 on a 112 and let jayson do the tuning....only think you'll tinker with is the TB opening. I could start me car at 20degrees in the am let it warm for 5min and be gone...the X1 is like no other I've seen...performs HUGE...but acts VERY docile....

I had one, it was fine except for my doors wanting to shake violently......

Driveability was fine.......
