Default Question on Trickflow and stock rockers, not what you think.

Installed my heads and putting my stock rockers back in. My question is I guess you need to gride the allignment tabs down on the rocker guide to fit flush. The stock heads have individual squares where as the trickflow has a solid block all the way across. Searched and checked ls1how to but nothing, Thunder racing said just grind them down. I don't doubt them just wondering why I haven't heard it talked about on the forum?
Thanks

Can you post a pic? I was under the assumption that you just mounted the shims under the rocker pedistals.

i ground the tabs flat on mine and also shimmed mine as i was supposed to. just make sure everything lines up nice before you torque everything down and you will be ok. you need to shim the rockers .090 to correct geometry. here is a link to my thread about how i did it

pic of what it look like ground down

There was a lot of discussion on this when the Dart heads first came out. I found the tabs easier to remove with a pair of pliers. They break right off. Make sure to check/narrow the wipe patter. I also thought that the TFS heads required a different rocker stand but may not be correct on that.
