need some help.
I am working on a 1998 ls1 with an 02 computer reprogrammed and a custom harness.
cross post from beginning of story here (link to last page).

problem it idles for a few seconds then dies. if I try to give it some gas it dies.
i am running through possible vacuum leaks.

any ideas?

As if its out of gas? Hit the gas tank with a hammer a couple of times then try.

kinda going out on a long one here, but may need to have the thing tuned to properly setup the tables for the setup. Not sure on how your ecu is working and what not, but I imagine a stock tune will not work, but you should be able to keep it running by opening the throttle, but I could guess thats half the problem.

Are you able to get a link to the computer say with a scanner, this would help.

I am about to drive there from KY just to check this thing out!!

thanks, i will check the fuel level.
the tune was done by the guy who did the harness.
I asked to have it set up for the minimum sensors needed to run.
On Monday I am going to pickup a junkyard ECU to test.

i will scan the codes if there are any today before noon.
