Default L92 heads on a LS1/LS6 block?

Hey All,

Still trying to decide on my heads and cam set up. The subject application of L92 heads has been suggested. I have done a search and I am fully aware that L92 heads can not just bolt up to a LS1/LS6 block. A 4.00 inch bore is required. However, modifications can be made, and there are at least two versions of L92 heads for a LS1 bore (from Mast and GMPP).

My question is, does anyone know of a LS1/LS6 block with L92 heads which worked, and what were the results?

Thanks.

I was going to do the same set up and I searched the site and its a lot of info out there that posted and it has enlightened a lot. It wud take to much time for these guys to fill u in on all the details. I wud search in the dyno area, they have a lot of stuff there far as l92 heads on ls shortblocks. Hope this helps, gud luck.

On an original LS1 block? Did you do this with L92 heads for a 4.00 bore size, or with the aftermarket type which fit a 3.9 in. bore size? How was the drivability at partial throttle?
