Oil change light?
I have had my 99 SS for 2 years. I use Mobile 1. I change my oil regularly. All the sudden I notice my Oil change light on sometimes. I can't place a symptom. Seems to be random. Oil is clean and I have good preasure at all RPM. Any Ideas?

Never has come on or been reset. I only have 30k and I have great records since the car was new. Car has had all oil changes since new in 98. When I first seen it I was driving hard, I was running late and was driving stupid hard around turns and stop and go. I thought for a second, that's why road race guys use pan baffels, but now I notice it when ever, sometimes at idle, sometimes at WOT, it goes as fast as it comes. I have a good 50 ignition cycles since it first popped up. I check the oil every other time I see it and it is always in perfect level, preasure, and color. No oil leaks anywhere.

thanks man I appreciate it I also have a FAST 92 and Nick Williams 92 on now.. as well as Chrs1313 Ram air kit.. but anyways
what you do to reset it is turn the ignition to ON but don't start the car.. the just press the TRIP button in for 12-15 seconds. It should blink and then go away. The Oil Change Light is triggered by rotations in the motor I believe, and has nothing to do with miles. So even though you got new oil in there it may have been set off but a certain # of rotations and more like a courtesy type of thing.
