There was a post several months ago dealing with a new valvespring/retainer setup that was being developed for the LS1 using technology off of winston cup cars. The post claimed that the valvesprings had a special design where if a spring broke, it would allow you to drive the car home and swap them out without any catastrophic piston/valve problems. Is there an update on these wonder-springs?
