Question Slp oil pump???

Hello everybody

I have ls1 "holden"

and I already changed the stock oil pump

to slp oil pump

my car is stock

and worker installed the slp pump on high pressure with it's spring

the quistion is: Are there any side effect on any part or component of my engine

and if it's. What's the solution

Let me see if I understand you correctly.

You swapped to the SLP unit. Now you feel your oil psi is too high?
What kind of pressure are you seeing at idle/partial/WOT?

It's still in the garage.
I'm just asking if there is any complication or side effect later.
Let me Ask directly: are the high pressure of oil pump going to effect the engine part?

If its ported it will probably not register as high.

If I understand you correctly? No there should be no ill effects on the engine after the SLP pump is installed.

The slp pump sets out from the block,more than stock, so it will clear a double roller timming chain. might have to grind your cover, readjust your pickup tube mount.
