Default LQ4 Head Question

Ok i swapped and Lq4 into my 99 T/A i reused my tsp 2.5 5.3 heads my question is are these heads holding me back or will they hold me back in the future cam is currently stock.

I'm also doing an LQ4 swap, and have been looking at the Stage 2.5 5.3s for heads. Unless you flycut the pistons, they'll limit the size cam you can run. And they'll never be on the same level as AFR, TFS, etc, but they are regarded as a good budget head. I'm just trying to decide between 5.3s and 243s...

get 243's or L92's for a budget head, or afr's and never look back.
