Default Oil Pump recommendations please (high volume - high pressure)

Is the hot ticket a reworked LS6 pump or something aftermarket? Thanks

I'm new to this LS1 stuff, but if that LS6 pump is high preesure, then thats what you want. There is no need for a high volume oil pump. As long as your pressure is up, then there will be no problem.

The LS6 itself is not higher pressure than the LS1 pump. Some of the tuners shim the oil pump pressure spring to get increased pressure. Volume increase on them is very minimal from their flash removal.

We do a little porting to the oil pick up side of the pump. This is just to get a bigger opening. We also take the pump completely apart and deburr it. During this stage we go ahead and polish where the pressure relief valve rides. This removes any flashing or burrs that might be on there. As for picking up volume, I doubt there is anything there. On the pressure side, we do not shim our pumps. Some shops do and this will get you a little higher pressure but it is just a band aid for a larger problem. If you guy's have any questions just let me know. I generally keep these in stock ready to go.

Thanks
