Default New heads for Trex? Ported 806 now on ls1

Its winter time, and I just bought a drag roller today to rob parts. I have a 98 H/C/I/E with a TCI Super Street Fighter 4l60e and TCI 3000 stall with 3:73. Current cam is TSP .581 224/224 with ls6 intake. Heads a ported 806 casting.

I drive the car a lot and took it on a 2500 mile road trip with no problems. Puts down about 360-370RWHP now and runs 11.90 1/4 @114, 7.56 1/8 @ 89, 1.64 60'.

I'm going to drive the car less on the street next year so I decided to put a 9" in it along with a complete suspension.

I'm also wanting to put it a more all-out drag race cam and then change the stall to PTC 4000 and gears to about a 4:30+.

Right now, I'm leaning towards the t-rex cam since it seems to be setting a lot of N/A records. I have a full NX kit on the car and wanted to spray 150 on it when needed.

So since I'm really wanting to spray a lot, should I worry about spending money on a good set of heads? The current heads do OK, but I'm not sure the history or what all has been done to them being an 806 casting.

How much more RWHP should I expect swapping from the TSP .581 .224 to the TREX?

I may even look at going with a 4:88 gear so for the 1/8 mile so I would need to turn more RPM.

Default

275/60/15 ET radials (28") so I'm thinking these will do well on the spray.
