Default LS6 cam.. spring settings

i am doing an ls6 cam in a 5.3L with 317 heads. i am looking for the correct info to tell my engine builder to set my valve springs? does anybody out ther have any input?

You need an engine builder who knows what he's doing.

i am just having him freshen my heads up and put my manley springs in. engine builder has no info on the ls6 cam? local (machine shop) just need to know what to set these at?

I would think between 120lbs and 140lbs installed should do you good.

What springs are you trying to run? Just throw in a set of PAC 1218 springs and be done with it. If you are trying to install LS6 springs and shim them or something to get your seat pressure, it would be easier and probably safer to just replace.
