Default TR 230 cam

Anyone try to drive around an M6 car with the Thunder Racing 230 cam without computer tuning. I have the cam and all the stuff for the install just no money for tuning. Any advice?

I drilled out the hole in my TB and drove it without tuning for ~300 miles. Id only died a time or two, usually when stopping from speed quickly, or with the AC on.... Its not too bad, IMO.

I drove around for a month or 2 on stock tuning with tha cam, but then again, when I got it on the dyno the A/F ration was near perfect at 13.0:1 Even drove in traffic, with the Spec Stg 3 and a McLeod Adj MC and didnt have any problems. You might need to drill the TB to help with hot-starts

Drove around for the first few weeks with no tunning.....ran pretty good even with the stock 3.42 gears, only died a few times during very slow speed driving and reverse

i drove for the first few months with no tuning. i had to adjust the throttle stop to get it to idle a little better. id died a few times, but was driveable. it is definetly much better now that it is tuned and definetly needs to be tuned.
