Default What type of hone to use on an LS1

I am getting ready to rebuild my ls1 and am wondering what type of hone to use on the cylinders? i have done 6 engine rebuilds on other motors and have always used a ball type hone, but should i purchase a 3 stone type hone? Also what grit stone should be used?
