Question PRC dual spring locators work with Comp 918 springs?

If I wanted to replace a set of PRC dual springs on a set of PRC 2.5 5.3 heads with a set of 918's (or other drop in beehives), can I use the spring locators/seats from the PRC springs, or would I need to find some stockers?

I'm pretty sure the PRC & Patriot Gold dual springs all come with new locators, so I assume they're different than stock, but just don't know for sure.

Any ideas? Thanks.

No, don't use them. Best bet would be a new set of valve seal/seat one piece GM pieces that came on the 02 and later motors. That way you get new seals as well, since you will need to remove the seals to get the seats out.

I don't know, but I think the PRC seats are much thicker than the stock GM seat and seal combo. It might change your spring pressure.
