Default Stock Maf vs 85mm SLP MAF vs 85MM GM MAF

ok so i am doing heads and cam, have all three of these MAFs in my garage and want to know which one would work best on the car? i have the SLP one on it right now but i was told that i should not use it for my heads and cam after my tune...is this true? opinions please on which one is best and easiest to program for the dyno tuner. i know the SLP is basicly a GM MAF with something added to it (i think a resistor), also will i need to use the IAC sensor if i use one of the 85mm MAFs? i already have a FAST 92/92 and FTP 98mm lid.

if your going to get tuned you can use either 85mm MAF which ever you prefer. its gonna get tuned anyway.

second you can use the >IAT< on the MAF or in the lid depending on which harness you get.

I'm running the GM 85mm (screened) w/ the Fast Toy's 98mm Lid. Worth a few extra hp. I picked up roughly 5rwh with that combo on my EPS cam set up. Get the harness like mentioned as well. I got mine w/ the MAF from Scoggin Dickey.

i have the harness that goes from 5pin to 3pin with my SLP one...will this allow me to delete my IAC sensor?

sounds like you gotta keep your IAT you need a 5 => 3 + 2 so it will plug into the factory harnesses. IMO if you want it all in one plug just cut the MAF and IAT plugs and put them on the 5 pin.

Well I wouldn't cut them, repining a harness is very simple and fast, all it takes is a good paper clip. Just google how to repin I do it all the time but would have a hard time telling you how without showing you
