Default overheating issue,keep coming back

This is a 2001 LS1/T56 swapped FC RX7.

Here's my problem,I recently did a H/C/I swap.I have drove about 200 miles.
First few days of the swap, car was running fine. Then last Saturday I decided to go on a 100 mile cruise.I stopped briefly at the gas station and the temp went from 190 to 220 in a matter of seconds.so I had my buddy tow it back.I tried to eliminate all the air bubbles, replaced the t stat with a 160 unit, and that didn't work.so I replaced my water pump, and still shoots up to 220-225.Now,I keep filling up the cooling system and there's no leaks,my SPAL fan pulls 3800 cfms.Did a pressure test and held 16 psi for a while and the psi started to drop very very very slow.at the same time I saw a few drops coming from under radiator.

My questions are
Does my cap need to get replaced?
If the radiator is slowly leaking ,can that cause the car to overheat?
Better fan?
Would my oil be an issue? Currently using 10-40w.

Mods-
799 heads
228r
Frost Tune
LS6 intake
New ls6 oil pump

Thanks
