Want alternative to Fel Pro 1041 Head Gasket I have the following head gasket:
FELPRO part number 1041
Head Gasket V8 LS1
Gasket Bore 4.135
Compressed Volume 9.4cc
Compressed Thickness .041
I am looking for a different gasket around the same compressed thickness - maybe a MLS type if available.
Can anyone point me towards an alternative?
I have 5.7 LS1 block with 243 heads.

Trick Flow/Cometic .045 head gasket from Summit Racing part number is
TFS 30694030-045 or Trick Flow/Cometic .051 head gasket Summit part number is 30694030-051 are a couple of options. Cometic also makes a .040 head gasket for your engine. Check with Scoggin-Dickey they also carry a mulitude of head gaskets for LS series engines.
