Default Nick Williams 102mm throttle body

Hey everyone!

So I got my fast 102 intake and NW throttle body installed but before I will start it up I wanted to check my scans to make sure numbers looked ok.

The first thing I noticed was that my throttle cable is only pulling to 90%. Has anyone else had a problem with this combo? I bet it is something I did wrong but since there were no instructions with the throttle body I just assumed it was the same as putting the stock one back on.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

Just for those that are wondering this was very easy for me!

I have cruise control on my 2000 5.7 camaro. To adjust the pull to be 100% pedal push for 100% throttle blade open do the following:

Have someone sit in the car for you to press the pedal.
Find the cable from the throttle body that connects back to the cruise control unit. In the middle of that line you will find a u shaped clip.
Pull off the clip and you will notice the back side of the clip has threads in it that match the cylinder it covers.

All these threads to is hold that cylinder in position.

Have your partner press in the pedal to 100% and hold.

On the connection that the clip covers, pull on the cable after the connection closest to the throttle body until the throttle blade is open to 100%. I used hp tuners scan to detect 100% but you can certainly eye it up.

When its in the right spot carefully press the clip on while holding the tension ( can be a little tricky with just 2 hands ).

I had to do this 2 times to get it right because the first time it was only at 99% so i have it a little extra pull just to get about one more thread deep so i would hit a full 100%.

Make sure to have your partner check the 100% position on the pedal and look at the throttle cam that it is where you want it to be.

Hope this helps someone else!

I might need to do this on my 95. My throttle cable has so much play in it I know it won't go to 100% or even close. I know it needs to be replaced, but that may help quite a bit for just some effort.
