Default How close should the pulley get to the block?

Hey everyone just re-installed my harmonic balancer. There is still a littl gap between the balancer and the front engine cover. I was thinking It needs to be up against it but the belt stays on well good. Anyone have any pictures of jon close it should be ?

Pulleys are not seated by how close they look to the block. They're seated according to a 250ft lb TQ spec.

So when the TQ wrench clicks on 250, that's what it's suppose to "look" like.

Like damian said, if its torqued, your good.. it shouldnt contact the front cover. the part that seals sits inside the cover.
