91 mini tubbed foxbody lq9 carb I am trying to get some good advice on what i should to on a budget of 10k for motor and trans the car will be driven on the street on weekends but mostly at the track.the car is 91 coupe with upr k member with a arms ad coil overs and a mini tub in the back coil overs also to in cawl hood wanting to run a 10.5 drag radial. i just picked up a lq9 with spun barring for 200 bucks. here are my ideas run h beam rods 6.100 on stock crank with a set of wisco dome piston with custom nirtous cam. run the stock 317's port and polish with bigger valves and shave the done to get about 11.5.1 cr with the victor jr ported to mach with 2 stage fogger and a quick fuel 750 carb.run this throw a built manual valve body with a brake th350. what yell think about this? it will be the first chavy motor build for me. would love to hit 9's on spray.
