Default 408 opinions on the build please

Well I traded my afr 225's for some stock virgin 243's along with a nice set of dual valvesprings thinking I was going back to a 346. A friend of mine, Damien, owner operator of Mc Racing, suggested I go with a 408. Mill the heads to bring the compression up to 11.2 with some mild headwork. 236/248 .607 cam from EPS and vic jr sitting under a 750 dp holley carb. Turbo 400 built and 4000 stall going to a moser 9" with 3.89 gears. It's going in my 91 foxbody which is really done except for the motor. I had the 225's on a scoggin dickey 383 rotating assembly and in the camaro it ran 10.5's to 10.4's at 128 to 129 mph. What do you think? Looking to go into the hi 9's on motor.

I had a 238/242 cam in mine and it had almost stock manners...my new cam is a 255/263 and behaves like a mid 220s cam in a stock cube motor.

Why not stay fuel injected?

I can change anything and don't have to call on someone to get my car running right. It's so simple with the msd 6ls box.
