Motor is out, might due a cam change. Never have done one before and doing it with the motor out should be quite a bit easier. How much time should it take?

I'd be guessing 1-2hrs to pull existing camshaft, 2-3 hrs to put it back together.
Will depend upon how fast you work, access to tools etc.
Also depends on what new timing chain setup you want to use.
Steps involved but likely you already know:-
Remove coil packs, valve covers, rockers, pushrods.
Take off water pump
Remove/pull balancer
Remove timing cover
remove cam retainer plate
remove timing gear
insert lifter retaining tools (rods or pen magnets) or flip motor upside-down.
pull camshaft.
