Good shop in chicago area?????
Live in the west suburbs
After having a terrible experience with LS1 Speed Inc in Schaumburg I would NEVER take a vehicle back there. took them 14 weeks to get a 4l60e transmission done, was given the run around- millions of excuses, was greasy inside, radio presets all changed, missing half tank of gas, car had new scratches, etc.
I then took another car to Modern Muscle in Oswego and I havent been terribly impressed but there work was okay. They have much better customer service but I feel like there work isnt top notch- the welds werent pretty, they had trouble doing my electronics, and the job took over 4 weeks when i was given a one week estimate (granted they were doing custom wiring so I understand to a point going over).
Im trying to find a GOOD shop in the area- that I can rely on to finish jobs close to on time, be honest, and do great work. didnt realize that this was asking so much...

Yeah I'd say check out Straightline in New Lenox. Might be a little bit of a hike for you buy I'm sure you wouldn't mind it especially if you know that you're paying for exceptional work.
