Default Which springs for ASA cam?

I put an ASA cam in a 5.3... Now I have a set of new ls3 heads with the yellow springs on them and I also just bought a comp rev kit with 918 springs, titanium retainers, and 7.4 pushrods. Which springs would better suit my asa cam in a 5.3 and which are more reliable and will take the rpm's?

I figured if the yellow springs would work and wouldn't float out or anything I could use those and put the 918 comp springs on the ls3 heads.

the 918's will work fine but how are you using ls3 heads on a 5.3? Did your bore it to a 4.0 bore? Idk if thats even possible... Ls3 heads will not fit a stock 5.3 bore

The LS3 springs work great with the ASA (they are the same as LS6/LS2 springs). Something like 90lbs on the seat and 295lbs open at 1.800" install height and good for .570" lift.

Great!! Maybe I'll use the yellow springs then. And I don't have the ls3 heads on the 5.3... Its a new set on another motor.

The ASA cam has less lift than a stock LS3 does, and that is why you can use the stock yellows.

I figured they'd work but I didn't know if the spring pressure would be right. I ruined an old big block one time from not having the right springs on when the machine shop told me they'd work.
