need some ideas on 408 short block build.
I want to build a nitrous short block. I have a 6.0 block get preped at the machine shop for a 408 stroker kit. I want it to handle a bunch of nitrous. But here is the THING i want to run on 93 octane pumpgas. I can run a standalone for the nitrous kit with what ever gas.
What is the most compression i can get on this 408 stroker? i was thinking around 12-12.5:1?
I will be running a ls7 type head, maybe that brodix br7?
Let me know what other info i should know for coming up with answers.

To be safe we usually cut the line at 11.5:1 for compression. I know some people have gone higher in the right situation but we prefer to be cautious about it. At this time I am not aware of any LS7 heads that will fit on a 4.030" bore, so you might look into some LS3 style heads if you are wanting to go rectangle on the motor.

That rotating assembly in the link would be conservatively rated to 900hp as long as you put an ARP main stud kit in the bottom end with it. I think it would be able to handle a pretty hefty shot.

That kit seems very nice and very nicely priced!
These heads wont work? http://www.brodix.com/heads/br.php
EDIT: Just saw the minimum bore of 4.125 so that answers my question.
