Default stock reman. engines

First I apologize if i posted in wrong section.
Im not for sure where to ask.
Have any of you guys or gals heard of a reputable shop for all stock
reman. engines?
I am looking for just a rebuilt stock 6.0 for my 2001 silverado.
Ive been searching for three weeks now and just come to the conclusion to ask
you guys on our forum.

Anyone know much about; rhymes with '(A)' and '(T)' last letter ryhmes with '(K)

seems the more i try to research the more bad i find.

Any and all help is much appreciated'

Thanks a bunch

I know at autozone they sell reman lq9 6.0 HO engines for 2800 bucks with a 3 years warranty...it comes as complete long block with oil pan...you just need ur old intake and sensors...granted its a stock motor but with the warranty that is a good deal I think...

The less powerful lq4 6.0 is a cheaper but I'm not sure how much, check autozones website

Off the top of my head, I think Jasper is the most well known with the best warranties. Are you opposed to getting a junk yard motor?

I think i worry too much about the bearings and rings
to try junkyard. Im pretty strapped with my time of trying to replace the
bearings or rings
Ive been reading and searching enough on the internet to
know the tolerances for ring gap and bearing clearances.
Trying to find a trusted builder that cares if they make those tolerances
is important to me

I ran the **** out of my 5.3 up these mountains around 4k rpm
I believe i may have spun a cam bearing in it as i have no oil at idle and very low pressure going 75. I think she is about to go quick
But i have ran it like this for the last 600-700 miles
current mileage 267,089 miles on odometer
Shes been good to me but her life is fading fast.

with tax money im in hopes of replacing the 5.3 for a little more torque

Hahaha...same thing happened to my buddy (mining truck) and he didn't have time to deal with it...he put some diesel 15-40 and it has held for over a year...don't think he even has changed the oil since, lol. Think he had 275k on it then.

My C3 454 dropped a valve and destroyed a cylinder wall. I put in a Jasper Class 2 to replace it. 440hp/500lb/ft and a 3 year warranty if it is professionally installed. the engine was 100% complete and fired right up and ran perfectly at the first twist of the key. It will spin my 72 vert sideways from a standstill. cost me 5K to remove the old engine, buy the new and reinstall.
